How to Measure Your Ideal Pet
To determine the correct size door simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pets shoulder
(B) Measure from the top of your pets back (just behind his head) to the bottom of chest.

This company followed through on true customer service. I had ordered the wrong door with the guidence of their customer service rep. and when calling trying to get this corrected, they listened to what had happened and made it right. Very happy with this company.

We had lost this part of our pet door. I was so happy to find just the replacement part! It arrived quickly, and fit perfectly! I was able to match what I needed easily.

Wrong Size - Dissapointed

I recently bought new door to replace my sliding glass door - it has a dog door on one side. I thought I should get a replacement slide (for the future, with 3 big dogs..). It is an Ideal Pet door, so I went to their site and purchased - what I thought was the same size slide: SDSLN, but it was not.
The replacement slide was just $22 plus S&H to ship... not bad.
However, the size of my dog door slide was a half-inch wider.
I emailed Ideal. After several emails, Janice said to return it.
Disappointed that Ideal, the company that makes the pet door did not have a replacement! They were not much help with the return! Now… the replacement slide will cost me more S&H to return, and I do not have a replacement!
Very Disappointed....
