To determine the correct size door simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pets shoulder
(B) Measure from the top of your pets back (just behind his head) to the bottom of chest.

Many complain about the fit, but this is a direct replacement for the original. Absolutely no problems with the fit.

The plastic door is the weak point

My huskies can easily push through the plastic cover. I’ve come home on more than one occasion to find that they’ve let themselves in the house while I was gone. I’ve had to install a piece of plywood that I can latch over the window when I leave. It’s either that or remove the entire dog door fixture from the window. I wish the cover had more of a heavy duty design because otherwise the system is a good product.

The lock-out slide for the dog door doesn’t just slide in, it has to be forced in, which makes it secure. If someone wanted to remove it from the outside, they cannot simply just slide it up.
