To determine the correct size door simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pets shoulder
(B) Measure from the top of your pets back (just behind his head) to the bottom of chest.

This is our third sliding door insert in 15 years. We have always had larger breed dogs (German Shephard, Husky and currently a 140 lb Berner) and love the freedom the dog door gives our animals. I was excited to stumble across this insert with the larger opening without having to pay a custom price that other manufacturers charge. We live in the upper midwest, so the vinyl frame, double pane glass and what I feel is a much better attachment system than the others we have had has made this a great purchase. The only negative for us is that I wish it had the double flap or 3 section molded flap option that come on other doors that seal in the opening a little better. We found a solution to help cut the air leakage down that works for us but, overall, well worth the money spent.

We are on our third doggie door each one has gotten bigger as our dog grew so quickly, this doggie door is the best of all of them well-made fits in the sliding glass door perfectly very sturdy will never buy from another company again!!!
