To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Best Dog Door
This is about the 5th replacement flap I've purchased for this dog door. Also just purchased a new frame for the flap (1st) time. Dog Door is 4 years old and in perfect shape. Plastic gets torn a bit with my big dogs who "fly" through!!

Repacing a Patio Door Pet Door
There is no pre-assembled pet door for the modular patio door insert, so I had to buy this, the flap and flap bar separately and assemble it myself.

Description unclear
It was exactly what I needed, however, nowhere in the description does it note there are three pieces to the frame (inside, outside and for attaching flap). So if you break a different part than the inside, you won't know you got the wrong part.

PERFECT MATCH
With two extra large dogs (Great Danes) my door took a beating. The magnetic closure at the bottom was broken and the door did not seal properly. This frame, along with a new flap, restored the door to almost new condition. Thanks Ideal for making this part.

The inner dog door frame arrived quickly. It took 5 minutes to install and makes the entire door assembly look brand new. My dog ripped out the door magnet during his puppy days. It's nice to have the magnet back to keep the flap closed on cold windy days. :)
