FLAP Has Rectangular Logo With Smooth Metal Bar On Vinyl Flap/Aluminum Frame.
To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

The flap is the right size. However, it tends to curl up at the bottom not allowing the magnets to touch to create a seal.

Excellent replacement
Needed to replace our flap that had become torn after a decade of use. Very pleased to see that Ideal Pet still was stocking replacement flaps for our older model door. One thing to note, this flap seems just slightly smaller than the original and does not as reliably engage the sealing bar in the frame.

Works perfectly!
have an older dog door that I installed in my wall. When the flap broke I thought I was going to have to pull it out of the wall, buy another one, and modify the hole in my wall to fit the dimensions of the new door. TTHANKFULLY I was able to find this door flap replacement and it worked awesome. Only took a few minutes to install as well. Hopefully this part remains available. I am sure I will need more of them over the years.

Took me a while to find the correct doggie door flap replacement in searching he internet. Just by accident I came across this web site. The new one shown was not quite as wide; but I took a chance on ordering it, It fit perfect in the doggie door. Good quality and moves good with the dogs going in and out. I

Solid product but…..
I love these as my dogs can play outside whenever they want. The reason it’s only 3 stars is that the durability leaves a lot to be desired. They rip pretty quickly and need to be prefaced often.

A Perfect Fit
We've used our Ideal Pet Door for about 25 years now - and this will be our second replacement flap. We're thankful that even though the pet door designs have changed over the years, we can still get a perfect replacement flap for our original door. Thanks!

Lucky to Find
This product is difficult to get because they have upgraded the product since I got it about 12 years ago. The flap was in really bad shape and I had to look around to find it, but it works great. Very pleased.
