To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Extremely difficult to replace
Our flap needed to be replaced so in the process of replacing it, one of the ends of the bar went back too far into the hole and it kept falling off. So I ordered a replacement bar and it turns out it's nearly impossible to replace the bar because all of the parts fit so tightly there is no way to retrieve the little plastic end from the hole without taking the whole door apart, which I wasn't going to do. However, given that the bar is impossible to work with, we may need to replace the whole doggie door at some point. Very disappointing....

Perfect replacement piece!
The clips that hold in the bar for the flap on the doggie door broke so the flap wasn't able to stay in. I went to the Ideal Pet Products website and was immediately able to find a replacement bar which included the clips. The price was within the range I expected for a replacement piece. The whole process of finding what I needed and placing the order was fast and easy!

Had to repair after a year
Flap works great but the durability is not great. Rod that the flap hangs on has cheap plastic ends that broke. Quality of the product is mediocre.
